More ways to make a donation

Send a check

If you prefer to make a donation by mail, you can send a check made payable to the Waterville Community Foundation. Please mail your check to Waterville Community Foundation c/o Greater Toledo Community Foundation; 300 Madison Avenue, Suite 1300; Toledo, OH 43604.

Take advantage of employer matching funds

Many employers offer matching funds for charitable giving that can double or triple your donation. Check with your human resources department to see if your employer participates in charitable giving matches and request a matching firm form.

Designate us for a memorial or tribute

Honoring the memory of a loved one, or celebrating a special milestone can leave a lasting legacy. You can name the Waterville Community Foundation to receive tribute gifts or designate us the recipient of gifts to honor a special birthday or anniversary.

Name the Waterville Community Foundation as the recipient your IRA distribution

If you are 70-1/2 or older, You can make a tax smart contribution directly from your individual retirement account. By choosing a Qualified Charitable Distribution, you can transfer funds from your IRA directly to the foundation – allowing you to support our community while satisfying your required minimum distribution without adding to your taxable income.
